KCRP ANNUAL REORGANIZATION MEETING

January 18th, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

There was a SRO crowd at the KCRP Annual Reorganization Meeting last Thursday.  Search is on for a larger room as we prepare for 2010.  Let’s keep up the momentum while gearing up for precinct and county meetings and the Lincoln Day dinner.  Adriana needs help with auction items.  And Susan and Kayla could use help with  ticket sales.

Clint Didier was the main speaker.  He is challenging the “Mom in Tennis Shoes” for a seat in the US Senate.  Didier left no doubt in my mind that he represents traditional conservative Republican values; i.e., individualism, private enterprise, small central government, 2nd and 10th Amendments, no new taxes, military support, energy independence by drilling, state’s rights, etc., etc.  Clint Didier has his roots deep in Eastern Washington soil.  He is NOT a RINO!!!

NO NEW TAXES IN WASHINGTON STATE

January 11th, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

THE WALRUS AND THE CARPENTER

January 11th, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

I can’t believe how apropos this quote from The Walrus and the Carpenter is……..poor Americans, oops I mean Oysters!

“I weep for you,” the Walrus said:
“I deeply sympathize.”
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

“O Oysters,” said the Carpenter,
“You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?’
But answer came there none–
And this was scarcely odd, because
They’d eaten every one.

US NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK

January 9th, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

Watching this US National Debt Clock is better than counting sheep.  But…….the problem is that it will give you nightmares and ruin your sleep.

TEA PARTY ACTIVISM

January 9th, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

Attended a Tea Party Participant’s organizational  meeting in Ellensburg yesterday.  Add that to what is happening nationally and the conservative cause within the Republican Party is gaining momentum!  The collective voices of “We the people” will be heard in 2010.  The future is ours to make.

2010 RESOLUTIONS

January 1st, 2010 by Jimmie Applegate

Welcome to the New Year!  The year 2010 brings many opportunities for Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, and disgusted Democrats to reclaim their government!  I have had enough of overt socialism; e.g., government ownership GMAC, GM, AIG, Obamacare, redistribution (giveaways) of earned wealth, personal, local, state and national debt caused by over spending, etc. to frame many a New Year’s Resolution.  Let’s all get together and remind the liberal Democrats that governing is a privilege given by the people.  And as such it can be withdrawn.  Grass roots organizations have blazed the trail so let’s get on board the train, blow the whistle while chanting “I can, I can, I know I can”.  As John McCain said, “We are Americans, we make the future”!

Upcoming Events:

KCRP Meetings have been MOVED
Second Thursday of the month
The Ellensburg Inn (Quality Inn) in Ellensburg, WA

The Kittitas GOP County Convention will be held April 17th at 10 am in the Hal Holmes Center.
